At the time of its launch in 2013, we knew Sony’s A7-series cameras had great potential, but we couldn’t have predicted how quickly the system would evolve and the impact it would have on tempting photographers to ditch their DSLRs and switch systems. When it launched in 2019, the A7R IV became the fourth generation of Sony’s high-resolution A7R-series full-frame mirrorless cameras.
